A New Chapter

Since our start in 2016, we’ve been growing and evolving our program in many ways. However, one thing that has remained constant is our genuine passion and interest in rehabilitating the horses that come into our care. As we have developed methods and perspectives for our rehabilitation practices, the realization of our purpose as a program has become clearer to us.

With every progress made, new opportunities come, new room for discovering potential in our program. Over the last year, both outside support and our own curiosity has led us toward a clear direction: advancing our understanding of equine rehabilitation through research and utilization of a semi-feral environment.

This new chapter is about leaning into what we do best: giving horses the time, space, and care they need to recover. By focusing on rehabilitation, we are creating opportunities not only for the horses in our care but also for the broader equine communities. Through structured case studies, thoughtful observation, and collaboration with others, our goal is to generate insights that can shape how rehabilitation is understood and practiced across the industry.

This blog will be our space to share that journey. Here, you’ll find updates on rehabilitation cases, reflections on what we’ve learned, and glimpses into the daily rhythms that make this work meaningful. We’re excited to bring you along as we continue to ask questions, explore possibilities, and contribute to the growing conversation about equine wellbeing.
